The show,  which is fast becoming cult viewing on late-night TV in the UK,  was originally commissioned by Channel 4 and shot on Digital Betacam in 16:9 widescreen format.

Pets Lighting Cameraman ALAN BENNS  (above), has been
freelance since leaving Thames Television in 1985. He has worked with the PETS producers for many years on their terrestrial, satellite, cable and corporate projects.

Pets was created by BRIAN WEST and ANDREW BARCLAY (above) who also wrote and produced the series. The pair first worked together at the Edinburgh Festival and recently won a TV promotions "Oscar" for a commercial for "The Jerry Springer Show".  Barclay & West's other writing credits include Simon Pegg's sketch show for Channel 5 We Know Where You Live, The Hypnotic World of Paul McKenna and ITV's Russ Abbott Show.

wpe6.jpg (11292 bytes) "Old Wilkes" - the inspired voice of Hamish.  Ian Angus Wilkie starred for two years in hit BBC children's comedy series Mr Wymi.

Pets Script Supervisor Julie "It'll never cut" Church-Benns (above) has worked on some of the biggest comedy shows in the business, at both ITV and the BBC. She has just completed filming the new series of Armstrong & Miller for Channel Four.

MIKE STEPHENS (above) directed all 26 episodes of Pets. Mike's previous credits include classic BBC sitcoms The Brittas Empire, 'Allo 'Allo and Hi-De-Hi.
