Pets was commissioned by UK terrestrial broadcaster Channel Four. The programme was created and produced by Fit 2 Fill Productions, and shot at Millennium Studios, Elstree, on Digital Betacam in 16:9 Widescreen format (14:9 protect).
Pets Series One was transmitted on Channel 4 between 10 March and 5 May 2001. Series Two went out initially in the form of double-bills in 4Later's late summer schedules July-August, then at 12.25 during Channel 4's Autumn schedules (between South Park & King Of The Hill ). Pets is distributed worldwide by RDF International and the show is currently on air in Australia (Fox), Italy (MTV) and Israel.
Series One of Pets consists
of 13 x 11 minutes episodes. Series Two is also 13 x 11 mins, making a total
of 26 shows. In addition, there is a new clip show "The Trials of Hamish", and
